I worked with Indy at FCB Cure and FCB Health, where I reported to him on the product design team. He has a strong talent for helping his team make sense of large and complicated projects. He sets up clear process, explains priorities in simple language. What I have learnt most from Indy is to is connect work back to real outcomes for clients, not just make pretty visuals. As a manager, Indy is kind but very clear. He takes time to understand each designer, assess their strength and weaknesses, and actively looks for opportunities for people to grow. He gives direct and useful feedback which has helped me grow as a product designer. Under his leadership, I moved from more one off projects to owning larger, more complex portfolios with confidence.
